Megumi & Yuya’s Japanese Wedding in El Parador
Megumi and Yuya had a beautiful wedding in September. It was a small intimate wedding, with close friends and family flying in from Japan. Megumi was studying Spanish in Granada and so she invited her teachers and friends from the course. They had both the blessing ceremony and the wedding reception at the Parador de Granada in the grounds of the Alhambra.
The bride got ready at the Hotel Parador. With hair and make-up provided by Sabina.
The flowers were delivered by Nerine Arte Floral. The bridal bouquets were made up of Peonies in pink, African Roses in fucsia, Pink Freesias, White Astilbe and Nerine in fucsia. Megumi also wore fuscia flowers in her hair.
The bride had a beautiful wedding dress with matching shoes.
Meanwhile the Groom Yuya got also ready in the Hotel Parador, untraditionally in the same room.
Once everyone was ready they all headed to the beautiful Exterior Patio at El Parador, where the blessing ceremony was officiated by Mark Fury and they were serenaded by a cellist.
After the blessing ceremony, the Parador provided a cocktail with cava and delicious canapes in the covered interior patio. Here they had an instant camera, so the guests could take some pictures and leave nice messages for the lovely couple in a guest book.
The meal was held inside the Parador dining room. During the dinner, they had a traditional japanesse ceremony with sake and kagami wari, where they had a box with some sweet inside as a present. The tables were decorated with flowers and candles.
The wedding cake was a three tier chocolate sponge cake with white and milk chocolate filling provided by lussocake. The decoration was with sugar flowers.
