Joey from Philadelphia in the USA and Antonio from Granada met when Joey came to Spain to play professional basketball and Antonio also played the same sport.
Bride and Groom Preparations
To start the day both the bride and the groom had a lot of fun getting ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen in the Hotel Casa 1800. A boutique hotel in the Albayzin, the old Arabic Quarter of Granada, converted from a 16th Century Palace. Hair and Make-up was provided by stylists Sabina and Drew Beauty.
The bridal flowers were provided by Floristeria Armiflor in soft pinks, white and burgundy with Roses, Mini Roses and Dahlias. The bridemaids carried fans in the same colours.
Joey and Anonio had a first look meeting before the wedding ceremony watched by the bridesmaids and then headed to the ceremony together in the wedding car that they borrowed from a friend.
The Wedding Ceremony was held on the upper terrace at La Chumbera. With the bridesmaids and groomsmen making their entrance first with Joey and Antonio then making their grand entrance together. The ceremony was performed by the Reverand Ronald Saunders
The Wedding Reception was held on the lower terrace of La Chumbera overlooking the Alhambra. La Chumbera also catered for the wedding, starting with drinks and canapes and more photos with photographer James Richardson on the terrace. They had a chocolate wedding cake filled with vainilla cream and they kicked off the dancing with their first dance on the terrace. They also had a photobooth provided by PhotoQueen
Congratulations to Joey & Antonio!
