I have been friends with Charlotte for many years and was delighted when she asked me to be her wedding planner and took great pleasure in organising her wedding.
Charlotte from England was working in Granada, Spain as an English Teacher and David, who is half French and half Italian, was working in Dubai. They met on holiday where their romance started. After a few visits, David moved to Granada, they then decided they would have a better life in Dubai but came back to Granada for their wedding at La Chumbera.
The florist, Floresteria Arte Nerine, delivered a beautiful bouquet of lilies, roses and lavender in fuscia pink, whites and purple colours.
Meanwhile David got ready with his best man in a nearby apartment and took some time to write his wedding vows.
The bride was finally ready and made her way down the aisle with her father to meet the eagerly awaiting groom.
The ceremony was performed by Mark Fury on the terrace overlooking the Alhambra and music was provided by the Cuarteto Albayzin.
While the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour of delicious canapes and drinks the bride and groom went off for a romantic moment together and a few photos.
The guests received favours of fans from the bride’s mother and bottles of Italian balsamic vinager from the Groom’s mum.
Dinner was served on the terrace of la Chumbera overlooking the Alhambra.
The wedding cake was a vainilla sponge filled with fresh cream and strawberries provided by La Chumbera which was served after the speeches.
The first dance was held on the terrace under the stars overlooking the Alhambra.
The bride and groom then made their way into the caves with their guests to dance the night away where they discovered that they had a surprise visit from Elvis!
Congratulations to Charlotte & David!!!
