Alicia’s mother is Spanish and the family have always spent lots of time is Spain so Alicia and Andrew chose the Cortijo de la Argumosa as the wedding venue for their wedding in August 2013. The Cortijo de la Argumosa is a beautiful venue in the Sierra Nevada by the village of Guejar Sierra surrounded by mountains with stunning views just half an hour from the city of Granada.
Alicia got ready in the Suite at the Cortijo surrounded by her entourage of bridesmaids, pageboys & flowergirls
Once everyone was ready they headed to the gardens for the ceremony surrounded by beautiful scenery. The ceremony was officiated by Mark Fury.
They were serenaded during the ceremony with Spanish Guitar from Armando.
After the ceremony the guests enjoyed drinks and canapes while the children played and the bride and groom took a moment for some photos with their photographer Pierre Richardson.
The flowers were a beautiful selection of roses, lisianthus and scented nardos in dusky pinks and creams provided by Nerine Arte Floral.
The Wedding Party
After the Cocktail Hour the Bride and Groom and their guests made their way to the patio for a sit down meal.
As the sun went down the evening was filled with romance with candlelight and twinkling fairy lights.
Instead of a traditional wedding cake Alicia and Andrew opted for a stack of cheese wheels that could be enjoyed during the open bar late on into the night.
Once the meal was over the happy couple had their first dance under the moon and stars and were soon joined by their guests to dance the night away.
