Ahmed & Chama are a gorgeous couple that live in Dubai and came to Granada, Spain with their guests from all over the world to attend their wedding at the Carmen de los Chapiteles. We were delighted when they asked us to be their wedding planners for this 2 day event.
The first night was a Henna Party with dinner and dancing at the Hotel Alhambra Palace.
The evening kicked off with the Alhambra Group playing Morrocan music as the bride and groom were carried into the teatro room on Amariyaa, following Morrocan traditions which is where Chama is from.
After a short ceremony the bride then had her hands and feet decorated with henna.
The happy couple and their guests then headed into the dining room which was decorated with simple white candles and flowers.
As Ahmed is from Sudan, after dinner the couple changed into Sudanese outfits for a Sudanese ceremony.
After dinner they danced the night away to the sounds of the Sudanese singer Rasha followed by a DJ
As if that wasn’t enough the celebrations continued the following day with preparations for the wedding at the Carmen de los Chapiteles
Once everyone was ready the bride and groom were taken in a chauffeur driven Hurtan car to the Alhambra for a photo shoot before arriving at the Carmen de los Chapiteles.
The bride and groom finally made their grand entrance to the sounds of the Andalusian Ensemble of Granada and the ceremony began.
After the ceremony, Ahmed & Chama enjoyed drinks and canapes on the terrace with their guests and Flamenco performances by “El Coloraito” and “Cecilia Gomez”. They then held their first dance on the terrace before heading inside for dinner.
Congratulations to Ahmed & Chama!
